Micoflora 0.0.6 - The Great Renaming

So I finally decided on a name for this project. Cloudedge has just been a placeholder. The game is inspired by Skyrim in a few ways, so I came up with Cloudedge as a play on words. Cloud = Sky and Rim = Edge.

I did a lot of thinking about this world. The magic is based on flowers and mushrooms and I like the idea that there's no biological distinction between them. In this world, flowers and mushrooms, or more broadly, plants and fungus are the same thing. So I wanted to come up with a word that combines the two concepts into one blanket word. I asked a friend who studies linguistics who gave me the idea to combine mico (for mushroom) and flora (for flower). So that's how Micoflora was born. It's the blanket word for all mushrooms, plants, flowers, etc. in this world.

Since Micoflora is the bases for the magic in this world (or at least the magic the main character will interact with), I thought it would be a good choice to as the name of the game.
