My last update, I talked a bit about my thoughts with flower magic. In this update I've started to implement it. Now you're able to swap between a melee attack, and a ranged fireball attack. Fireballs cost flowers, and you can refill your flowers by collecting them on the "forest" floor. I know it doesn't look like a forest. I promise I'll add trees soon haha. Also most of the flowers are mushrooms because I'm mostly using stand-in art for now.
My plan with the flower magic is to have a variety of flower types, probably differentiated by color. Each type has a different effect on your spell, and you can mix and match them to tune the spell to your playstyle. If you want, you can have really slow, giant fireballs that deal a lot of damage. Or you can have really fast-moving fireballs that deal low damage but makeup for it with a high firerate.
