I had a fellow streamer playtest this version of this update. He seemed pretty confused about how to interact with things and I think that's an important next step. I think that should be my main focus right now. There should be more feedback when interacting with stuff. Ideally, I would like to have a popup showing which key/button to press to interact. Maybe just the first few times you interact with something.

I've also received feedback that there needs to be more feedback which weapon you're using. If you're in "magic mode" or "melee mode".

Another big goal is to add an inventory system, different weapons with different stats, and more feedback about learning magic.

I'm having a bit of an identity crisis with this game. On one hand I want a big and diverse open world that allows for complex player creativity like Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, and Breath of the Wild. On the other hand, I want to give players a simple cozy experience like A Short Hike where the mechanics are simple and they can explore with little stress or pressure. I'm hoping I can find a balance between these two ideas to create a game where that can be as complex as you want it to be. You want to tinker with character stats? Have unique weapons with different playstyles? We got you. But if you want to just equip the weapon with the bigger numbers and have fun time exploring? Sounds good to me.
